Number of ATMs in Azerbaijan exceeds 3,000

As of April 30, 2023, the number of ATMs (cash machines) installed by banks in Azerbaijan reached 3,075 cash machines (0.2% more than at the end of 2022), banks.az reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to the CBA, at the end of April 2023, 1,599 ATMs were installed in Baku (an increase of 0.5%) and in districts - 1,476 (decline of 0.1%).

The number of POS-terminals installed at trade and service facilities in the republic amounted to 79,118 terminals (0.9% less than at the end of 2022).

At that, 54,647 POS-terminals were installed in Baku (a rise of 1.5%) and 24,471 ones in districts of the country (decline of 5.9%).

76,776 POS-terminals or 97% of all POS-terminals were installed in retail facilities for the reported term.
