Number of citizens who received credit histories in Azerbaijan exceeds 100,000

The number of citizens who received free information about their credit history through the Electronic Services Portal of the CBA’s centralized credit registry system has already exceeded 108,893 people.
banks.az reports that of them, 35.5% or 38,673 accounted for the territory of the Baku Economic Region, 7.9% or 8,565 for the territory of Absheron-Khizi, 6.8% or 7,431 for the territory of Lankaran-Astara and 6.1% or 6,623 for the territory of the Karabakh Economic Region.
The number of credit reports received by citizens exceeded 300,000.
Citizens can view their credit history for free by visiting the corresponding page of the Electronic Services Portal in real time via digital login.
The Centralized Credit Register was created in 2005 at the Central Bank. The Register collects information on all loans of individuals and legal entities with credit obligations in the banking sector of the country, regardless of their amount.
