Consumer loan portfolio of Azerbaijani banks has grown

As of September 1, 2024, the consumer loan portfolio of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 7.978 bn manats.

banks.az informs that this is reflected in the monthly statistical bulletin published by the Central Bank. The loan portfolio increased by 213.7 million manats (2.8%) over the month, by 1.4 bn manats (15%) compared with the end of last year, and by 1.446 bn manats (22.1%) during the year.

The portfolio of consumer loans as of August 1, 2024 totaled 7.765 bn manats, as of January 1 – 6.937 bn manats, for the same period of last year – 6.532 bn manats.
