Price of gold rises every day

The price of gold is rising every day.

banks.az reports that although some international experts attribute this to the approach of the U.S. Federal Reserve System to lower interest rates, many believe that gold is getting more expensive amid geopolitical tensions.

The yellow metal rose to $2,265.73 an ounce on Monday after hitting a number of highs during the last session, up 1.6% from Thursday's close.

The Fed's preferred indicator last Friday - the main index of personal consumption expenditures for core inflation fell in February. This reinforces the demand to reduce borrowing costs, even if the Central Bank maintains a cautious tone.
