A new bank may be created in Azerbaijan

The Central Bank has issued a statement on the main directions of monetary and financial stability policy for 2021.

banks.az reports that the statement says that the expansion of mortgage lending through market mechanisms will play an important role in the development of the property and construction sector in the country.

"In this direction, the issue of creating a savings & construction bank will be considered," the statement says.
