General director appointed at Central Bank

The general director has been appointed at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

banks.az reports with reference to the Central Bank that Gular Pashayeva was appointed to this position in compliance with the order of CBA chairman Taleh Kazimov from 20 July 2022.

Thus, the number of general directors has reached 7.

Pashayeva began her career in 2011 at PASHA Bank as a cashier. Over Jan-Aug 2012, she worked as the head of the Department for working with corporate documents & protocol support of the bank, in 2012-2013 – coordinator of the Office of Corporate Secretariat of the Department for Legal & Organizational Issues for working with collegial bodies, in 2013-2015 – held the position of adviser to the Legal Office of the same department, in 2015-2021 – the position of head of the Department of Corporate Secretariat, in 2021-2022 – the director of the Department of Corporate Governance & Administration.
