Nearly 67 million manats of preferential mortgage loans given in 9 months

Over Jan-Sept 2024, agent banks of the Azerbaijan Mortgage & Credit Guarantee Fund gave loans for 365.6 million manats, including preferential mortgage loans for 66.5 million manats.

banks.az reports with reference to the AMCGF that the average amount of mortgage loans given amounted to 94,683 manats.

In 2024, 3,017 families improved their living conditions through commercial mortgages, and 844 - social mortgages.

To date, mortgage loans in the amount of 3.2 billion manats have been given at the expense of the Fund, which has allowed 51,710 families to improve their living conditions.

More than 931 million manats of these loans accounted for preferential mortgages given to persons belonging to vulnerable groups of the population.

According to the AMCGF, 67% of those who used mortgage loans are young people and young families.

The Fund reports that as of October 1, 2024, the AMCGF provided guarantees for 1,077 mortgage loans in the amount of 92.9 million manats.
