Azerbaijan presents statistics of the unemployed

According to preliminary data, as of 1 November 2021 the number of economically active population totaled 5.299 million people.       

 

Of them, 4.98 million people make up the employed part of the population, and 315,300 people (5.9%) are unemployed. As of 1 October of this year, the number of employees amounted to 1.699 million people, including 903,600 people in the public sector of the economy and 795,700 people in the non–state sector. 31,700 people are employed in the oil & gas sector and 1.667 million in the non–oil sector of the economy.
