When will concept of ‘digital manat’ be ready?

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan is planning to complete development of concept of “digital manat” by the end of 2022, banks.az reports, quoting CBA CEO Farid Osmanov.

"Many central banks are conducting analyses in the direction of digital currencies. The CBA has also activated this process and continues work on preparation of concept of “digital manat” within the technical assistance from international organizations. We plan forming this concept as soon as possible," he emphasized.
