Central Bank signs agreement with Mastercard

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan and Mastercard have signed the Memorandum of Understanding to reveal the directions of cooperation in the development of digital payments in the country in the next strategic period.

banks.az reports with reference to the CBA that the new strategic agreement signed for the sustainable development of digital payments is aimed at expanding financial accessibility through technological innovations, supporting the introduction of innovative payment tools for small and medium-sized enterprises, organizing seminars and trainings for various target groups in order to increase confidence in non-cash payments.
