Azerbaijan's insurance market has grown

In 2021, insurance premiums in the amount of AZN 843.897 million (15.8% more than in 2020) were gathered through 20 insurance companies in Azerbaijan.

banks.az reports that the amount of payments made by insurance companies for 2021 amounted to AZN 458.726 million (1.4% less than a year earlier).

AZN 54.4 manats of payments were made for every 100 manats of insurance premiums. For the same period in 2020, this figure reached 63.8 manats.
