Elman Rustamov: Insurance market has grown by 13%

Azerbaijan has strengthened the implementation of a comprehensive strategy, developed to expand the insurance market, include fundamental risks of the population and business in insurance coverage, and increase the role of the insurance sector in economic development.

 

banks.az reports that Central Bank’s chairman of board Elman Rustamov stated about this at Mili Majlis’ plenary session. 

 

He added that the work carried out in the insurance sector makes it possible to realize its growth potential.

"As a result, over the past 10 months of this year the domestic insurance market increased by 13% compared with Jan-Oct 2020," the CBA chair emphasized.
