"Azerbaijan Insurers Association" Public Union is a non-governmental organization united on the basis of common interests, based on the principles of volunteerism, legal equality of members, does not intend to earn income as the main purpose of its activities and does not distribute income among its members. Its activity covers the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Association carries out its activities on the basis of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Associations and Foundations)”, other normative legal acts and the Charter. The Association was registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 29, 2006. Registration number 1106-Q15-2291. The association has an independent building, a stamp with its name, a stamp, a settlement account in the banks of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other details. The main purpose of the Association is to assist in the development of insurance and reinsurance companies operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan and members of the Association, to develop their socio-economic, information and other development programs and to increase scientific knowledge in this field. 20 insurance companies, 1 reinsurance company and 5 legal entities operating in the insurance market of Azerbaijan are members of the "Azerbaijan Insurers Association" PU.
