Now a QR code to be used when making payments

Azerbaijan has approved a methodological guide on the use of a QR code for payments.
banks.az informs that as part of the work condicted in this direction, the Methodological Guide on the Use of a QR Code for Payments was prepared and approved with the purpose to improve the efficiency of payment services provided with a QR code in the country, as well as to ensure mutual compliance.

The application of the recommendations arising from the methodological guidelines will ensure the standardization of QR payments offered by banks and non-bank payment organizations in the country, the expansion of contactless payments and, thus, more convenient payment solutions for economic entities.
