Payment system Apple Pay to be launched in Azerbaijan

The introduction of the Apple Pay payment system in our country has begun at the initiative and official invitation of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

CBA director general Farid Osmanov stated that active work is underway in this direction.

"The Apple Pay team is already working together with commercial banks, processing centers and international card organizations to actively implement and test the system. In the coming days, next week, it will be possible to make contactless, simple and secure payments through POS terminals, e-commerce pages and applications via Apple Pay using debit and credit cards issued by a number of commercial banks," he said.
