Work in Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan

The main strategy that Ziraat Bank employs while selecting the countries to expand into is to analyse the resident Turkish population, the Turkish business people in the country and the current/potential trade relations between the country and Turkey. In this context, Ziraat Bank aims to grow in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region with regards to the close historic and cultural ties. In accordance with its expansion strategy, Ziraat Bank is preparing to launch a subsidiary bank in Azerbaijan which is planned to be named Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan Open Joint Stock Company (hereinafter referred to as Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan). Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan OJSC is operating under the license dated 30 December 2014 No 255 issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan`s shareholders are T.C Ziraat Bankası OJSC (99,98%), Ziraat Teknoloji OJSC (0,01%) and Ziraat Yatırım Menkul Değerler OJSC (0,01%).
