Number of bank employees has increased

In October 2021 the number of employees of the bank increased by 347 people, and for the period from January to October (for 10 months) by 1,127 people. banks.az informs that the number of employees of the bank in July 2021 increased by 176 people, in August by 175 people, and in September by 144 people. For comparison, at the end of October 2021 the number of employees of the bank was 19,835 people, and at the end of 2020 the total number of employees was 18,708 people. Before the pandemic, the number of bank employees in Azerbaijan approached 20,000 (as of 31 March 2020 – 19,846 people). 473 branches and 97 branches of 26 banks operated in Azerbaijan as of the end of October.
